Step Challenges!

Okay everyone who had a fitbit or any other kind of activity watch you have either participated in one or know someone who has. I have entered into a couple different ones. But I tried a step challenge with my husband and it ended very quickly since it might have caused martial problems.... We are both way too competitive. But I decided I want to try and hit my step goal everyday. Of course the day I decided that I had a massive headache that I couldn't get rid of yesterday so I didn't hit my step goal but today is a new day!!! Yesterday we went over to a friends house that we will be house sitting for in a few months to get familiar with things and learn the routine. We will be doing this once a week until the time we stay there. It was really fun. My son enjoyed having a new place to explore! There was also a cat and my son has never been around a cat so it was new for him! This is our lunch time selfie!!  After that we went home for nap time and got to relax for...

Road Blocks + Goals Always a Pair

It seems like every time you set a new goal and have a plan to accomplish them, everything seems to make sure those goals are not met.... Having a toddler is one of those obstacles.... I am not currently training for a race but my mom has a half marathon coming up in April, so I am going to be her training partner. I was so excited to find out I was pregnant, but I got some nausea along with it. That was the hardest part to try and get up and workout. I tried to get up and go but with it being cold outside and not feeling good I didn't push myself too hard. I wish that I could but that is something that I need to continue to work on. So today was the first day I got back out and ran. It was a gorgeous day first of all which helps me to want to get out and run. I wasn't really planning on running. I had my 1 year old in the stroller and I haven't trained with him before. I was planning on just walking and being outside and enjoying it. But as we got started I felt good and dec...
