Midday walk!

Today the weather is actually really nice! We decided to still bundle up my little guy and go for a walk. We didn't run because it was a  spur of the moment thing. But we kept a good pace while we were walking. Thats the thing about working out anything is better than nothing. Now obviously there are standards that get you the optimum results but if you only have time to go for a walk because you don't have time to shower before you are on your way or something that is totally okay!

This is my walk workout we did today.

Its not a super fast pace but with the hills we did its better than sitting on the couch watching a movie with my son again! Not that I don't love those moments those moments melt my mommy heart! But those moments aren't the best when you don't get up and do something! I got my step goal while we were out walking! My watch measures movement to measure the steps, so while I am pushing the stroller I have to also push with one hand. Mostly it doesn't bother me because when running you are meant to use your arms. It still measures the distance without my arm movement thanks to the GPS. But I had to get those steps to count!

But at the end of the run it had warmed up enough to sit down for a minute and let my son throw rocks into the water! Its something that he loves and its nice to let him get out and have some fun. He is so good during the run/walk. He doesn't complain at all! I am so thankful for that! Here is our after run selfie!

Take 2

I got busy with life and there were other things that took priority over my blog. Though I loved writing, I needed to focus on me and my family. Since its been a while let me update you. I had my second baby. A little boy named Nash. Sweet guy! I had to have an emergency c-section because I had no fluid and he was breech. They were going to try and flip him but when we got to it he went into distress. I remember thinking I just wanted my baby to be okay. I never wanted a c-section. It scared me! I mean it is major surgery! Will thought it was pretty cool to watch! He was the first to hold our little guy! My recovery was way different than expected. But once I was able to run again I got to it! I think that helped a lot with my scar tissue not building up. I had to find different sports bras since I was nursing! I love  Senita  Athletics nursing sports bras. Super easy to nurse right after my runs and covered everything I needed. I feel better being covered when I nurs...
